Why we chose this

The only artworks made with DALL·E 1, produced under an OpenAI commission in 2021 and assembled piece by piece because the model could not compose at size. Herndon and Dryhurst have spent a decade thinking about machine authorship instead of reacting to it. A closed door: nobody can make more of these.
