What we publish
One is a picture nobody has seen yet. The other is where it ends up: outdoors, among the vines.
Vernissage
生涯One piece, minted on Ethereum’s eleventh birthday. 生涯 (A Lifetime) is a painted landscape where every mountain range is one year of the chain, drawn from that year’s daily prices. A new range rises each July 30, and the last one rises in 2045. It is painted from a block nobody has written yet, so nobody has seen it, us included.

Art & Château
The dozenTwelve landscapes out of 生涯, printed at the sheet maximum on brushed aluminium (the full 190 × 145 WhiteWall can make), mounted free-standing between the rows and insured for the season. No château is chosen and no date is set. What makes it ours to say out loud is the art: the dozen comes out of our own engine, so announcing the intent commits nobody but us. Nº 1, two decades of Dimitri Daniloff’s constructed photography, waits until there is a date worth putting his name next to.

What we publish on
A contract decides who can change a work and who can take it down. We are particular about whose name is on it.
Transient Labs
ContractsMost NFT contracts are a receipt. These hold the artist’s own words on-chain (the Story Inscriptions the Reading Room essays are read out of), and the artist keeps the keys.

Publish with us
For artistsWe do not sell your work and we do not take a cut. We help you put it on a contract you own, and then we show it properly, next to writing that argues for it.

Where it hangs
Most of this work was made for a screen. Some of it has earned a wall.
WhiteWall
PrintsThe lab our prints come from, named world’s best photo lab eight times at the TIPA awards. Made to order, in sizes cut to the centimetre. Brushed aluminium is the finish we keep coming back to.

MetaSill
FramesFrames from a ten-inch square to a gallery wall, showing only what the wallet plugged into them can prove it owns.

What we watch
The one part of this market we still find interesting. We report on it; we do not sell it.
If you make the work
The studio publishes other people’s work on the same terms as its own: your contract, your keys, no cut.
