Buyer Licence Terms

Upon full payment and delivery, you become the sole owner of the physical print: the tangible object. You do not acquire ownership of the underlying digital artwork, the copyright (to the extent it exists), or any intellectual property rights in the image itself, except for the limited licence granted below.

Subject to these terms, Ikigai Labs grants you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, perpetual personal licence to:

• Display the physical print in a private or non-commercial public setting: a home, an office, a personal collection, a gallery wall under your control.
• Photograph or film the physical print for personal documentation, insurance, or social-media sharing of your collection, provided the image is not the primary commercial focus.
• Resell or gift the physical print itself as a second-hand object. The licence travels with the physical object, and the new owner is bound by these terms as set out in section 6.

You may not, without prior written permission from Ikigai Labs:

• Reproduce, copy, scan, digitise, or create derivative works from the image in any form, including high-resolution photography for commercial purposes.
• Use the image, or any part of it, for commercial purposes, advertising, merchandising, NFTs, stock libraries, AI training, or any revenue-generating activity.
• Claim authorship of the artwork, or remove any edition numbering, signature, or certificate of authenticity.
• Produce additional prints, editions, or merchandise based on the image.
• Sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the image in any way.

This work was created with Ikigai Labs’ proprietary art engine, Lux, which incorporates Flux models and is the result of extensive human experimentation, curation, artistic direction, and post-processing spanning more than a decade. It is an AI-assisted original work with substantial human creative input.

In accordance with the EU AI Act and applicable law, the artwork is labelled as AI-assisted. Purely autonomous AI generation does not create copyright; the protectable elements, where they exist, arise from the human creative contribution.

• Each print belongs to a numbered limited edition. The exact size is stated on the product page and on the certificate of authenticity.
• Edition numbers are unique and will not be reissued.
• A certificate of authenticity, digital and/or physical, accompanies every print and forms part of these terms.
• Prints are produced to museum standards by WhiteWall or an equivalent laboratory. Minor variations inherent to fine-art printing are normal and do not constitute defects.

If you sell or gift the physical print, you must:

• Inform the new owner of these licence terms, and
• Transfer the certificate of authenticity.

The licence rights and restrictions automatically bind any subsequent owner of the physical print. The licence may not be transferred separately from the object.

Any breach of these terms automatically terminates the licence. Upon termination you must cease all use of the image beyond simple personal display of the physical object you own. Ikigai Labs reserves all rights and remedies, including injunctive relief.

These terms are governed by the law of the selling entity’s jurisdiction, and that jurisdiction, together with the entity’s registration details, is stated in this section before anything is sold. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ikigai Labs concerning the licence for this print, and supersede any prior communications.

By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Buyer Licence Terms.
