Why we chose this

In 1964 a Zambian science teacher founded a space academy and proposed to send a woman, two cats and a missionary to the moon. Cristina de Middel staged it instead of documenting it, which is the point: the series is about what the West is prepared to believe about Africa. Self-published in 2012, shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse the year after, and sitting here without a bid.
