Why we chose this

Ours. Eight of XCOPY's public-domain works, re-encoded to 64×64 and sixteen colours, under a rule that copying is free and selling is not: every sale runs the picture through one irreversible pass of generation loss, and after fifteen only a flat field is left. None of the eight is minted. What is on chain is the argument itself, 4,910 bytes in an event log, carrying a picture of the decay in all sixteen states.
