Why we chose this
Downie and his family were on a boat when the borders closed and stayed on it: stranded and effectively stateless at sea for two years, then two more sailing the American east coast after they went back to it. Twenty-eight frames of fog, slack tide and lighthouses from Cape Cod to the Great Dismal Swamp, each written up as a log entry rather than a caption. The circumstance is what makes it, and nobody sets out to shoot this series.
