Why we chose this

Ten thousand portraits at 24×24 pixels, given away free in June 2017, before OpenSea, before "web3" was a word anyone used. The crude resolution is the constraint: every trait has to survive a grid that small. Not the best-looking work here. Everything after it inherited the format.
