Why we chose this

Written as a letter to Anni Albers, who went to Mexico in 1935 and came back a different weaver. Mapan asks what she would have done with his tools and then answers himself, weaving with algorithmic paint. He shares her interest in tactile sensibility, which is the hardest quality to get out of a screen and the one all four of his projects here are chasing.
