Why we chose this

Forty-two staged domestic scenes made between 2016 and 2021, most captioned with a single dry line: 'Apathy is better with a friend.' DiDonato works inside ordinary houses and turns one thing slightly wrong (a bloom in winter, a pattern that stops repeating) so the discomfort arrives through the furniture rather than the face.
