Why we chose this

Seurat built Pointillism as painting's answer to photography: dots of colour the eye mixes at a distance. Phaust's argument is that this was a description of the pixel, arrived at eighty years early. The pieces are live rather than fixed, which most collectors never find out: clicking animates between the palettes, the number keys change the glitch state, and S writes a print file.
